The impact of digital technologies on business competitiveness: a comparison between Latin America and Europe

Purpose This study aims to examine how the adoption of digital technologies affects business competitiveness countries in Latin American and European countries. Design/methodology/approach used a structural model based on factors representing pillars Global Competitiveness Index: financial system, information communication (ICT), skills, labor market, product macroeconomic stability, dynamism gross domestic (GDP) purchasing power parity (PPP) as percentage total world value. The authors considered 17 28 was analyzed by partial least squares-structural equation modeling.
